My husband and I spent 3 days at Green Park Boutique Hotel in January this year. This is a gorgeously designed hotel with wonderful staff - in its own very special way it rivalled other beautiful hotels we have stayed in throughout Asia. The design of the hotel is beautiful contemporary Lao with separate pavilions housing the reception, restaurant/bar and spa, with connecting walkways travelling over a water course below that flows between the pavilions….for more please click here

As each of our 4 children have completed primary school we have taken them to visit Asia. At Christmas 2005 with our youngest child we visited Thailand, Singapore (both countries we know well) and added in Laos. This turned out to be a delightful first. Thanks to a tripadvisor forum posted last October, I investigated Green Park Hotel, Vientiene; we'll be forever indebted to that member who'd found a new hotel that was about to open just aftey left Laos….for more please click here

“No where in all our years of travel has matched this experience:-from the special Birthday treat for our 13 years old daughter (where else does a Manager bring the cake and candles and then join in singing “Happy Birthday”! – what a delight for our girl!!) You all deserve to do very well. Your staff have been well selected and trained. The food is delicious. The d?cor is refined and elegant. I am ever thankful to the TripAdvisor.com travellers reviews for putting me onto Green Park. We will be back. You have made us feel so relaxed… may your garden and fortunes continue to bloom and prosper.”

“I have watched the hotel grow since its first beginnings and knew it would be a little special. But it is not! It is a lot special. The quality of everything that has been created and the attention to detail in design and executive are excellent. Well done! Xok Di!

Dear Management and Staff,
We stayed at your hotel on 7, 8, 12 and 13 November ’06 and would like to thank you for a wonderful stay. In particular, we would like to extend special thanks to your reception staff and managers who went out of their way and did more than we could ever have expected on two occasions:
- Assisting us with catching a bus to Vang Vieng that we would otherwise have missed;
- Enormous assistance with ensuring we caught our flight from Vientiane to Bangkok despite us discovering our clock had stopped and we only had 30 minutes to get to the airport, check in and catch our flight!
Special thanks must also go to the driver who navigated the heavy traffic and ensured we caught the flight. It was stressful for us, so we appreciated would have been also stressful for the driver. We caught the flight and arrived home safely after a long flight. We have returned to work and are now saving hard for our next holiday to Laos. The clock has since completely stopped and has been to the shop for repair.
Again, our sincere thanks to everyone at your hotel for making our stay so pleasurable and for helping us when we really needed assistance. We will highly recommend your hotel to any friends and colleagues wishing to visit Vientiane, and we hope to be able to stay again one day in the future.
Warmest wishes and much success for the future.
Kind Regards.
Heather Langskaill and Craig Courtney, Australia. |
